Mr Dinesh Trivedi

Dinesh Trivedi is a well-known Indian politician. He has earlier held important portfolios of Union Minister of Railways and Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare. He has been a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha and a former Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha in multiple terms.

Mr Trivedi was recipient of Outstanding Parliamentarian Award for 2016-17 period. He is also the Chairman of the Indo-European Union Parliamentary Forum (IEUPF), and member of other International Parliamentary Forums. He has served as the founding convenor of the Forum of Parliamentarians to make India free of Leprosy.

After graduating in commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Calcutta, he completed his MBA from The University of Texas in Austin. He is also a trained pilot.
