Since 2006, under the vision of Mr Yohei Sasakawa, S-ILF has championed the empowerment of families affected by Leprosy. We focus on creating sustainable livelihoods, improving access to education, and fighting social stigma. Our work aims to reduce dependence on charity and foster inclusive, dignified communities where every individual has the opportunity to thrive, transforming lives through self-reliance and lasting social change.

Through various projects in 27 states and UTs, S-ILF supports over 30,000 individuals affected by Leprosy and their families residing in various Leprosy colonies. Our on-the-ground work builds resilient communities and promotes nationwide awareness to break stigma and end discrimination.
