Dr Krishnaprasad P D

Dr Krishnaprasad P D joined S-ILF in July 2026 as a Programme Officer. He is a public health professional with a Bachelor degree in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Kerala University of Health Sciences and a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Central University of Kerala. His experience in public health research, health systems and community-based programmes has helped him understand the importance of accessible, equitable, and people-centered healthcare.
He is particularly interested in epidemiology, health systems strengthening, digital health, implementation research, social determinants of health, and communicable and non-communicable diseases. Krishnaprasad enjoys learning about emerging health challenges and exploring innovative solutions that can create meaningful improvements in communities.
Outside his professional work, he enjoys music, cinema, cooking, travelling, and learning languages.
