Program Officer

Mr Kishore, based in Chennai, holds a postgraduate degree in Social Work from the Madras School of Social Work. He began his career as a Social Work Counsellor and later served as an Emergency Team Coordinator for a COVID special project with the Greater Chennai Corporation. Following the successful completion of this project, he transitioned to the role of Social Safeguard Officer for a stormwater drain project funded by the Asian Development Bank and implemented by the Greater Chennai Corporation.

Before joining S-ILF, Kishore worked as a Technical Officer at the Tamilnad Network of Positive People, focusing on HIV-related initiatives. He is passionate about continually expanding his knowledge and skills in the field of social work.

Outside of his professional endeavours, Kishore has a keen interest in ball badminton, having been an active player during his school years. He also enjoys travelling, volunteering, and staying informed about current trends and developments.

Kishore’s contributions during the COVID project earned him recognition as the Best Coordinator from the Health Commissioner of the Greater Chennai Corporation.
