Mr Sushanta K Sen

Mr Sushanta K Sen has devoted his entire working life for CII. His experience covered areas such as social development including health, HIV-AIDS, community development, water management, women’s’ empowerment and disaster management. He worked with NGOs and served on the Board of Credibility Alliance for several years. He was associated with the Global Fund for HIV-AIDS, Malaria and TB for three years. He has headed the CII Group on Public Policy interacting with senior politicians and MPs. Labour Relations and working with Central trade union leaders was also one of his areas of work. He has travelled extensively in South Asia to promote business and investments. In recent years, he has focussed on governance issues such as ethics and good practices in industry (including health care sector) and compliance. He retired from CII as Deputy Director General.
